Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • An associate photographer is someone that works under the lead photographer’s brand as an independent contractor. It’s a way that I can offer my brand and style to more clients even if I am already booked. My associates are well versed in the same shooting style in order to maintain a consistent brand experience for you, no matter which photographer is shooting their wedding. Everything else is taken care of by me including the initial consultation, timeline planning, editing and final delivery.

  • I started photography back in 2008 as a portrait photographer. In 2012 I had the opportunity to shoot my first wedding, and ever since then, I was hooked! In October of 2017, I was able to go full time with my business. Becoming a full time photographer has been my greatest achievement! I am so thankful to be able to do what I love for a living! I have photographed 400+ weddings.

  • You will first fill out my contact form. From there, I will send you my wedding guide via email. It is a 25% retainer to book your date, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding. You, your partner and I will electronically sign the contract, and then its official! In the months leading up to your wedding, we remain in contact. I will send questionnaires to the online client portal I will make for you. These forms go over logistics of the day: photography timeline, family formal photos and groupings as well as important contact information for all vendors involved.

  • I am a canon shooter. I have 4 full frame camera bodies: 2, 5D Mark III and 2 Canon R6’s. All of of my cameras have dual memory card slots, which is essential when shooting weddings. This means that your images are backed up to 2 locations before I even leave the wedding. I have multiple prime lenses that I use to capture macro images of your diamond ring as well as extended zoom lenses so that I am not all up in your business during your ceremony. I am proficient in Off Camera Flash, which means I set up a few light stands in strategic areas of your reception and trigger my flashes to go off simultaneously, creating beautiful light in not so beautiful lighting conditions.

  • I am so glad you asked! I deliver a gallery of sneak peek images from your wedding day in less than 48 hours. Your remaining gallery will be delivered about 4-6 weeks. You will see all of your images online via Pic-Time and are able to download and send the link to friends and family.

You should expect about 125/images per hour of photography. All photos are hand edited by me in my signature style.
