For the past several years I have always rented out a Studio and hosted my Boudoir Bashes.  It's a fun afternoon spent with a bunch of girls.  There is champagne, music, hair and make up, and some finger foods.  Each year has gotten more and more popular and I couldn't be happier!

My goal for this session was to see how feasible it would be to pull off an at home boudoir session to avoid a hefty studio rental fee.  By eliminating any distracting background from the headboard of the bed, I was able to create a studio like appearance in these images.  Less is ALWAYS more, especially when you're shooting photography. If you don't think that you can pull off shooting in your own bedroom, I challenge you to think again. Can you rearrange the furniture and tidy up a bit? And does this room have ample natural light?

If you can't make this work in your own home, no worries.  The same room that these shots were done in is available for you!
